LEGROS RACING

The Legros racing team got a late start to the night after make repairs to the #79 from the turn four crash with the #11 and #32 cars at Bedford Speedway friday night.  With TVR handicap start Chipmunk Legros started on the pole after a hard fought heat race with all the big dogs in she finished 4th out of 8. then started halfway though the field for the 30 main. at the start Alicia drop three spot until the car started to work and then she made her way to the front got all the way to fifth before ending up in 7th for the night.  The Legros Racing Team would like to thank Brandon and Dave Hoover of H.R.I. for there help saturday night at Thunder Valley Raceway.

Last night at the Bedford Speedway the #79 team lost a trans. with two laps to go that force Chipmunk to pit the #79 but as she tried to pit off turn four the #11 drill her on the rear bumper then spin as the #32 pounded the back of the #11.  The team has alot of work to do today to get the car ready for Thunder Valley's 30 lapper. 

Friday night at bedford speedway the legros racing started out with a bad pill pull (32) and started last in the heat and was running to the front when chipmunk came up on wreckin Ray and could not get around him.  We started 18th in the feat. and to the front when the tierod broke and forced her to pit the #79 for the night. 

What a night at TVR, It was a big crashfest in the hobby stocks.  The Legros racing team was full it and and looking for a great night on Chipmunk's 19th birthday.  The night started off with a bad pill pull (41) and started deep in the heat 7th but Chipmunk wasted no time going two the front, making a three wide pass on lap one under the #29 and #40 going in to turn three make contact with Wildman Jason Gilliland sending the #79 spinning and to the back of the pack and finishing in 7th out of 9 and starting the #79 in 17th for the feature.  At the start the #79 pick up a miss on lap one forced Alicia to pit the #79 and lost 3 laps after wow fixing the #79 big crash with the #29,#95,#26,#32,#007 and more gave the team more time to try to fix the problem and after returning to the track Chipmuck raced to a 11th place finish 4 laps down.  This week the Legros team will get to work on at new motor by Discrete Horsepower.

The 79 legros racing team will load for Bedford Speedway tonight if the weather holds off.  If not Thunder Valley Raceway on saturday come see the return of Jason Gilliland to the hobby stocks for one night only, He will be back behind the wheel out the fame #29 hew drove last year.

The 79 team traveled to Thunder Valley and started on the outside of the pole for the heat race with likes of Tom Warren and Dave Lee on chipmunk's bumper she hung with the two for the whole heat race finishing in third out of seven.  Still working with the new chief crew driver adjments the 79 team went to work on thighing up the car but the crew chief went a little to tight for the feature and chipmunk had her hands full she started on the out side of the front row with the #1 car of Tom Warren on the bumper,  at the start it was a three wide battle for the lead with the 79 on the outside and the #1 in the middle, #32D on the bottom, with no bit on the top and a one groove race track the 79 fell to sixth after the first lap but  held that spot until the end.  The team will make some small adjments though the week to make the car better and the driver and crew chief will sit down this week to get on the same page for the race night adjments.

Tonight the 79 Legros Racing team will travel to the Thunder Valley Raceway for the season open.

The Legros racing team made a trip tp the rock in maryland on saturday, once again the car was not up to par inthe heat race and finished in sixth,  but made a race of it for the feature starting 8th and on a bedford speedway setup chipmunk wheeled the 79 all the way to 5th.

        The Legros Racing team started the nite off with a bad runnin motor before the heat race but with the team working together got the 79 car ready for the heat race but with a loose air cleaner forced Alicia to pit the 79. 

        After things cooled down the team went to work on the car,  we started 18th and begun to make the way to the front with a car that was getting loose as the race went on we ended up 14th.
